Our Journey
Kelly Legal began as “MS Kelly & Co Solicitors” in 2004 when Sean Kelly acquired the small practice of a retiring solicitor in Mackay. In 2007, the practice merged with long-standing local firm Searles Solicitors and adopted the name Kelly Legal. Our commitment to providing high quality, service oriented residential conveyancing was demonstrated through the establishment of Kelly Conveyancing as a separate division in 2006.
Since our beginnings, Kelly Legal has grown quickly to become a major provider of legal services in the Mackay region with its dedicated team of legal practitioners, conveyancing officers and paralegals offering services in most areas of law.
Following a restructure in 2010, Kelly Legal welcomed new directors Paul Kelly, Stephen Byrne and Richard Callaghan to the fold. The firm continues to grow both locally and across Queensland, regularly examining and improving the services offered. Our qualified legal practitioners boast a combined total of over 125 years industry experience across an expanding range of services. With a head office in Mackay and a Brisbane CBD office, we are committed to providing a high standard of service to all of our clients.
