Kelly Legal began as MS Kelly & Co Solicitors in 2004 when Sean Kelly acquired the small practice of a retiring solicitor in Mackay. In 2007, the practice merged with long-standing local firm Searles Solicitors and adopted the name Kelly Legal. Then in 2006, a separate conveyancing division Kelly Conveyancing was established, reflecting the firm’s commitment to providing high quality, service oriented residential conveyancing.
Since our beginnings in 2004, Kelly Legal has grown to become a major provider of legal services in the Mackay region with its dedicated team of legal practitioners, conveyancing officers and paralegals offering services in most areas of law.
Following a restructure in 2010, Kelly Legal welcomed directors Paul Kelly and Richard Callaghan who share Sean’s vision to providing an exceptional standard of client focused legal services.
The firm’s local success led to an expansion in 2011 with the opening of a second office in the Brisbane CBD. The firm continues to grow both locally and across Queensland, regularly examining and improving the services offered. Our qualified legal practitioners boast a combined total of over 125 years industry experience across an expanding range of services.
